You will also need experience working in groups.<\/p>\n<h3>Project<\/h3>\n<p>A major component of the course is the design project.\u00a0\u00a0This is a semester long team project requiring documents, class presentation, implementation, and helping with evaluations of yours and others project.\u00a0\u00a0You may choose your own project (with possible constraints).\u00a0\u00a0In any case you will write reports.<\/p>\n<h3>Implementation<\/h3>\n<p>You are to implement a significant portion of your design using any software tool that can be ran on an operating system available at school.\u00a0\u00a0I am more concerned with originality and effectiveness then quantity.\u00a0\u00a0You should be prepared to explain your code.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0Class Participation<\/h3>\n<p>You must be present for the project presentations; absolutely no excuses.\u00a0\u00a0You must also come to lectures so that you can collaborate with graduate students and discuss topics. Class attendance will be recorded and you allowed 2 unexcused attendances at lectures. More than 2 unexcused attendance will result in grade reduction.<\/p>\n<h3>Course Grade<\/h3>\n<p>Your course grade will be determined by the performance of your project and course participation. Course participation includes working with your group, assisting other groups, assisting graduate students, and participating in lecture discussions.
